The Library Board of Trustees is an advisory board which has no legal responsibilities. An advisory board generally makes recommendations on policy to local government, and acts as a liaison between the library, local government, and the community.The Pasquotank County Library Board of Trustees are appointed by the Pasquotank County Board of Commissioners. If you are interested in becoming a Board member, please contact Jackie King or download the Pasquotank County Boards and Committees' application.

Meetings are held quarterly (July, October, January, & April) in the library's community meeting room. The meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm.

The Friends of the Pasquotank County Library is a group of volunteers who support the library and its services and programs through various activities, including fundraising events, volunteer support, book sales, and in other ways. The Friends meetings are held quarterly on the second Tuesday of August, November, February, and May @ 6:00 P.M. If you would like to join the Friends please fill out the membership form and mail or return to the library.

Speak up on behalf of the library at every opportunity

Encourage your friends and neighbors to become library advocates

Let the Pasquotank County Board of Commissioners know how important the library is to you

Keep support for public libraries on the State and Federal agendas



Library Hours:  Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. | Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
